Great tropical fruits can be found in just about any supermarket these days, so you have no excuse not to use all these exotic flavors in your next juicing blend. Most mix nicely with green juices and the combinations are endless.
Pineapple Mango Medley
Start off your tropical juice journey with an easy combo of pineapple and mango.
- 1/3 of a fresh whole pineapple
- 1 large mango
- 1 shot spinach juice
- 1 shot wheatgrass juice
Core the pineapple and chunk up about 1/3 of it, and then peel and pit the mango. Juice it all up, and mix with your green juices. Enjoy!
Green Papaya Punch
You don’t hear about papaya juice all that much, but it’s another delicious tropical option for your juicing adventure. Here is another recipe that mixes fruit, veggies and greens.
- 1/2 of a whole pineapple
- 1/2 of a papaya
- 1 whole kiwi
- 2 handfuls of kale leaves
- 1 shot wheatgrass juice
- 1 small cucumber
- 2 cups watermelon
- 1/2 of a lime
Peel, core and chop where needed and run everything through the juicer. You’ll get two good servings of finished juice with this.
Mango Power Juice
A few extra greens in this blend, along with a little coconut water will give it all a bigger nutritional boost.
- 1 whole mango
- 2 shots wheatgrass juice
- 1 shot kale or spinach juice
- 1 small cucumber
- 2 pears
- Coconut water
Same routine as before, chop and remove pits. Juice everything up except for the coconut water. Split the juice between two glasses, and top each one off with coconut water. How much of the coconut water you use will depend on how huge your glasses are.
Tropical Banana Green Smoothie
Another option to get more tropical fruits in your glass is to go with a thicker smoothie, especially if you like banana.
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1 handful of spinach leaves
- 1 shot wheatgrass juice
- 2 cups pineapple chunks
- 1 banana
Whip it all up in a blender and enjoy. Add a little more milk or just water if you find it’s too thick. You’ll get one big smoothie from this recipe, and it’s great for breakfast.
